About Basic Grades

PELPRENE is classified into two copolymer types, P-type and S-type, according to the kind of soft element as the source originating the elastic property of the material.

The P-type PELPRENE is a copolymer composed of an aromatic polyester as the hard element and an aliphatic polyether as the soft element, and regarded as a Basic grade having ideally well-balanced proportions of heat resistance/low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and processability.

The S-type PELPRENE is a copolymer composed of an aromatic polyester as the hard element and an aliphatic polyester as the soft element. It has the physical properties comparable with those of the P-type PELPRENE , and its brand line is ranged from moderate to high hardness grades. The S-type PELPRENE has excellent heat-aging resistance and weather resistance.
