該機(jī)型主要用于液-液-固分離，即對一種固相 (密度)和兩種密度不同的液相進(jìn)行分離。轉(zhuǎn)鼓和 螺旋以差速同向高速旋轉(zhuǎn)，物料經(jīng)進(jìn)料管進(jìn)入。在離心力作用下，固相物料沉積在轉(zhuǎn)鼓壁上形成沉渣層，兩種液相物料分別形成輕液相環(huán)和重液相環(huán)，由轉(zhuǎn)鼓壁開始向內(nèi)依次形成固相層、重液相層和輕液相層。螺旋將沉積在轉(zhuǎn)鼓壁上的固相物料連續(xù)不斷的推至轉(zhuǎn)鼓錐端，經(jīng)排渣口排出機(jī)外。輕液相由轉(zhuǎn)鼓大端的溢流口連續(xù)溢出，重液相經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)鼓大端向心泵排出。從而實(shí)現(xiàn)三相分離。
